Marina, nanny in Drayton valley

I am a young adult whose passion has always been to work with children. I am close to finishing my Early Learning and Childcare Certificate course. My goal is to get my diploma in Childcare and open my own day home.

I have previous experience babysitting children of all ages. I have also worked for a Military Family Resource Center as a Day Camp Supervisor for two summers. In addition to this, i was a Nanny for two wonderful toddlers. These experiences have taught me a fair bit about patience, discipline and most importantly, having fun! They have also expanded my knowledge base on how crucial modeling positive behavior and encouragement can be to a child's well-being and development.

I am adventurous and love being outdoors. I like to go on nature walks and collect different materials for crafts, its interesting to see what kids can come up with. I scrapbook, read and write in my spare time so I'm always coming up with new ideas and activities to try out. Observing a child in play is the best way to plan educational and fun things to do.
