My passion has always been working with children. I am licensed Early Childhood Educator Assistant who has finished all the courses to obtain a full license but has to wait until the fall to finish off practicum. I have over one year experience working in a daycare where I had the chance to work with children age 10months-9years. Additionally, I have a certificate in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies and can communicate freely in sign language.
I believe that all children are unique and competent. They learn through interaction with their environment and the people in it, making quality childcare very important. My guidance philosophy empowers children. Through stating limits and negotiation, children gain confidence and learn to make the right decision for themselves.
I'm looking for a posistion that is casual, weekends or only for the summer as come September I will be unavailable weekdays as I am starting practicum and returning to school to study Behavior Intervention
