Matt, nanny in Central toronto (davisville)

I am a 23 year old male student who has just finished university and will be going back in a years time to pursue a degree in childcare. I have specifically worked with multiple co-ed groups of children between the ages of 3-13 in volunteer and paid positions. This includes volunteering as a homework helper and coordinating games at 2 community centers and paid work as a babysitter to neighbours, as well as refereeing little league baseball and coaching an entire girls soccer team for a summer. Many of these positions I was offered and accepted with open arms and excitement. As someone who has always brought bright smiles to the faces of children I am passionate about pursuing a career in childcare or at least being a care provider. Bottom line I enjoy helping others and bringing enjoyment of life to an all-time high. I am an outgoing, upbeat, positive person who can keep children entertained and fulfill all the required care-giving needs. Caring for, working, and playing with children brings me ultimate satisfaction. I don't consider babysitting a job. I am a true believer in the theory that if you aren't doing what you love then you're wasting your time. I hope to continue to have a lasting affect on the children I am responsible for supervising, building a relationship I can look back on later in life that will warm my heart. Most work requires a delicate balance between discipline, leadership and fun. In childcare, I believe I have found that niche and can confidently say I will effectively provide the care your children deserve. I am playful, responsible, mature, caring and have a soft-heart for children. As a 23 year old male it's quite difficult to admit the sad truth that creating belly-laughs for kids probably makes my day more than theirs.
