Irhis, nanny in Burnaby (cascade-schou / douglas-gilpin)

Hello, my name is Irhis Gail Salehi Parast.

I am a behavioural science graduate looking for an opportunity to be a nanny for some amazing kids.

I have always had a passion for children and working with them. I am independent, caring, patient, understanding and incredibly friendly which enables me to have fun with kids and give them the care they need! I know how active and energetic they can be and how much love and attention they require. I believe that my past experiences as a junior acrobatics coach and out-of-school care provider have equipped me to be a great caretaker.

I am one of the assistant coaches for my previous school's gymnastics team and have taught junior acrobatics during my time in university.

My current position as an out-of-school care provider has provided me with an incredible opportunity to work with children directly. Some of my responsibilities include planning and implementing activities for children age 5 and up, maintaining a clean and safe environment for children, collaborating with other staff members on deciding activities for the day, design and develop activities to facilitate children's emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth, communicate with parents regarding their children(s), supervise indoor and outdoor play (including field trips), release children to authorized parent/guardian, and preparing snacks.
