Hello! My name is Emma and I am a graduate of the Child and Youth Care program at Mohawk College. I have a passion for working with children and youth, as well as interests in the arts and love the outdoors. I have worked for various summer camps and volunteered as a dance teachers assistant for three years. I have also completed school placements at two elementary schools and a therapeutic foster home in which I was hired on as staff after graduating. Last September I was also the caregiver for a child with autism for a year. During my time as a child and youth worker I learned, ran and created many activities that help children with social skills and life skills. Some of my qualities as a child care provider would be that I am energetic, experienced, responsible, kind, creative and compassionate.
