Samantha, nanny in Halifax lower harbour B3H

My name is Samantha and I am currently 18 years old turning 19 in early august. I have had many years of experience caretaking and have a certificate in babysitting as well as first aid training. I am from Ontario but attend school in Halifax at Dalhousie University. I plan on staying in the summer and am looking for fulltime work if possible but am also open to partime work if applicable. My experience includes babysitting four children of the ages 4, 7, 9 and 12. I babysat every day after school for two years, 4-5 hours a day. My job included helping with homework, feeding them as well as providing them with activities such as going outdoors. In addition to this, I babysat these two separate families on weekends and for special events. As well as helped them and ensured safety to and from school. I have also babysat a child under the age of two for the past year including weekends, occasional weeknights and special events. This included changing diaper, feeding as well as providing entertainment. I love working with children and exploring the innocence and imagination they hold, and providing a supportive and safe environment in order for them to develop to their full potential. I love the outdoors and doing activities that allows for a healthy release of energy. I played competitive soccer for almost nine years as well as competed in cross country events. I also played a variety of instruments growing up including the piano, guitar as well as in my high school concert band.
