Kara, nanny in East york (woodbine heights) M4C

Hi there, I am twenty eight years old, currently residing in Toronto but spent most of my life in Orillia. I graduated high school there and came here for University, Bachelor of Arts, classical and Canadian literature, did two years at University of Toronto and decided it wasn't what I was after. I am currently attending hot yoga (moksha) four to five times a week, I intend to go for a teaching certificate once I have enough hours and training completed. In my spare time I read...probably a fair bit more than most. I enjoy cycling, cooking and although it can be a pain I love to garden. This Summer I have had the privilege of looking after Lily during the week. My father commutes from Barrie to Toronto, he's a plumber. We have gone swimming, done crafts, danced, walked, read and relaxed. She is a wonderful little girl, five is such a sweet age. She has inspired me to want a more permanent position with children for the foreseeable future. She goes back to school Tuesday and I'm hoping to fill the void of her company with a new family. Before I moved into the city, I lived in Etobicoke for three years. During this time, in the evenings, I cared for Mikayla, her parents both worked evenings. I was responsible for snacks, dinner, crafts, bedtime and two large dogs. She now lives in Brampton and is about to start grade one, spending time with her was also a pleasure. Currently I look after two boys, aged 6 and 9 in the afternoons. I am responsible for picking them up from school, arranging play dates, assisting with homework, housework and snacks. Being a Nanny is a job you miss on weekends and look forward to going into, something new happens everyday. You get the opportunity to teach another person and watch them grow, it's an amazing experience. I can provide you both of these references.
