Victoria, nanny in Dufferin county (shelburne) L0N

Hello!
My name is Victoria, I'm currently 20 years old living in Switzerland as an Au Pair/Nanny since the end of August 2014. Here is a little bit about myself and related experience: I have babysat for family members since I received my babysitters certificate when I was 12 years old. The Spring-Summer of 2014 I spent as a Nanny for a family in Shelburne, Ontario providing care for a young girl (18 months) and a young boy (3 years old). I then moved to Switzerland to spend a year as an Au Pair (Where I am currently). Here, I care for two young girls, aged 2 and 4. This experience has taught me so much about myself, and what I want to do with my life. I have a strong passion for working with children and hope to continue working with them as a living. I will be returning back home to Shelburne for July and August and will then come back to Switzerland for another year as an official nanny to the family. My work here includes driving them to daily activities, helping with cooking the meals, cleaning the house, teaching English as a second language, displaying proper discipline and manners, and ultimately being a friend and "big sister" to the girls. The youngest girl was in a severe fire accident before I arrived in August of 2014, with that I have taken on the role of assisting in the everyday necessary procedures. This has been such a wonderful teaching experience for me for working with children, understanding the needs of a child with medical needs, and teaching a new language. I can't wait to continue my time with them come September 2015, but I'm excited to come back to Canada to work for the summer! I hope you enjoy my profile and we can talk soon!
