Meredith, looking for a nanny - K9A Cobourg

I'm currently exploring work options that will allow me to further my legal career; however, my son's daycare closes at 6 and I need to find care until around 6:30 p.m. I must figure out the after-school care situation before I explore any further work options - therefore, start date is unknown at this time but I am aiming towards a December 2017 or January 2018 start date.

I am seeking after school care for one 8 YO until 6:30 p.m. in my home. Must be able to start dinner most evenings - either one of us can meal plan and grocery shop.

Help with homework would be ideal and preferred.

Re: car/transportation - we live right beside the school so it's about a minute walk to/from. You will need to take child 1X or 2X/week to his extracurriculars. Our current schedule is swimming on Tuesdays at 6:30 and scouts on Wednesdays at 6:00. His swimming at the YMCA is fairly close and within walking distance. Scouts is at St. Peter's, which is quite a distance away though - hence the reason for needing a car. If the car is an issue, I'm sure that some alternative can be arranged. I'm an excellent problem solver!

Every other Monday and Friday evening would either be after-school until 4:15, or no care at all (visitation schedule with his dad). I would like to discuss your preferences and go from there.
