We are a busy, active family with two working parents looking for an organized, proactive, and nurturing Nanny / Family Assistant to help keep our heads above water!
We need support 1 to 2 days per week on our busiest afternoons and evenings to help our household run smoothly. Our home is located in Yarker.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Household & Prep (Kid-Free Afternoon)
Before the kids get home, you will have dedicated time to help us stay organized:
Meal Prep: Preparing healthy dinners and snacks for the family.
Household Help: Catching up on chores, tidying up, and organizing kid-related areas.
Phase 2: Evening Support & Childcare
Once the school day ends, you will act as our teammate:
The Shuttle Routine: While parents drive older kids to their various after-school activities, you will stay back to care for the remaining children.
Evening Care: Managing dinner time, play, and starting the evening routine in a warm and supportive way.
What We Are Looking For
Traits: Someone with strong initiative, highly organized, nurturing, and truly passionate about working with kids.
Safety & Background: Active CPR and First Aid certification and a clean Police Record Check are mandatory.
References: Strong, verifiable references from previous families.
Home Environment: We have no pets.
