Hello, and nice to meet you.

My name is Meaghen (I go by Meg) and I am 27 years old, looking to start in gaining experience working with children. I am very attentive and I think that kids have some of the best insight into the world around them, and I love hearing their ideas.
I have recently re-certified in First Aid and CPR as well as food safe. I do not have a vehicle, but enjoy taking walks and very comfortable on transit. I have done three years of post secondary, two of which were in a 2-year technical degree in Adventure Tourism. I have traveled quite a bit over the past few years within Canada.
I enjoy the outdoors, going to parks or beaches to explore, going to museums and other educational places, and discovering new places to find fun things to do. I don't like to party or get involved in anything crazy like that, so I am very easy to depend on.
I'm also a big nerd and a kid at heart, so I love sitting to a food flick, playing boardgames or video games, reading aloud, and going on adventures. I am also very crafty and artistic, and I sew costumes as a hobby. I know how to balance "tv time" and play time well. I can also help with homework, as I have tutored in the past and did well in school.
As for what you would like to see from me, I am always professional and dependable. I am punctual to the "T" and I take my work very seriously. I love spending time with kids and am really just a big kid myself. I volunteer and have helped organize and run large scale events, and have assisted with charity events such as Kids With Cancer and the Make a Wish foundation. I have level 1 first aid and have previously been certified in child/infant level. I also have food safe, but do not have a drivers license.
