Kisha, is looking for part time childcare in East toronto (the danforth west / riverdale)

We are a family of two professionals and two delightful little girls aged 6 and 3, conveniently located at Broadview/ Danforth. We're looking for an after-school caregiver Monday to Friday for 2 hours each day, roughly from 3 15 pm to 5 15 pm. Exact start and end times may vary slightly for some days. Our desired start date is Sep 9 (the first day of school) and we would strongly prefer someone who can commit for the full duration of the school year (ie till the end of June).

Duties will include a combination of: picking up our wagon and snacks from our home at Broadview/ Danforth; picking the girls up at Jackman Ave Public School and Play Loft (583 Danforth); supervising snacks; play time at Withrow Park and/ or our home (depending on the weather); drop off at dance class (Broadview/ Danforth); and minor homework supervision for our 6 year old.

Ideally, you love working with kids and have experience with caregiving for this age group. You are creative, happy, energetic, positive, kind, caring, and above all, extremely responsible. The safety of our girls is our outmost concern. Fluency in French is a major bonus but not required.

For those looking for additional work hours, we are also looking for 3 to 3.5 hours of light house cleaning help 4 days a week, to be done anytime between 9 and 3.
