A nanny, what if you couldn't do without one?

While it is undoubtedly the most comfortable method of child care for children, as they are not constantly transported and instead keep their same home environment, what about for parents?

Let's say that at the beginning, it's not easy to trust a stranger who will spend long hours at your home in your absence. Will she do a good job of looking after the children being alone or will she spend her days watching TV or try that new dress your husband just bought you? ( Well, there we are exaggerating a bit)

But in time, once you have learned to trust her, you'll save a lot of time and stress thanks to her!

A nanny? What are the benefits?

The scene is set:
It's 6pm, you're just closing up the file you were working on  when your lovely HR manager tumbles in your office shouting that his secretary forgot to tell you about a super super important meeting, which cannot take place without you, that you are a pillar in the agency and that the meeting is now ......!

You are annoyed to have to tell the nanny at the last minute but she responds:

"No worries, Catherine. I am taking care of everything, relax, everything will be fine!"

In addition to the thorn in your foot  that she's removed, you will enjoy coming home and dedicating yourself completely to your children who have already done their homework under the discerning eye of the nanny, eaten their meals and been bathed.

We can already see your eyes widening with happiness!
And you can, because in this kind of situation, this is the only type of care that allows such flexibility (provided that the nanny is available for this kind of extra, of course).

You can also include household chores in the contract. Be careful though to be reasonable and take into account the age and number of children: her first priority is to take the best care of them! But it's a real comfort not having to turn on the washing machine just when you get in the door... but don't count on the children's rooms always being spotless!

You're imagining the beautiful weekends on the horizon? A live-in nanny, does almost what you would do if you were at home. But don't ask more of her than what you yourself are capable of.

What is a nanny?

However while one works at the employer's residence while the other receives the child in her own home.

Salary, rates and costs of a nanny

Unlike in-home family care, the cost of a nanny is more consistent throughout Canada.
