Debbie, home daycare provider in Shediac E4P

Hi, My name is Debbie. I have just recently moved to this Beautiful town of Shediac from Montreal. I studied ECE at Vanier college and obtained my diploma. I am a qualified Educator. I have worked in the daycare setting for 7 years now. I did some substituting at MCGILL CPE with different age groups. My preference for age group is between 2 and 5 years old. I am not licensed, therefore I can only have the legal amount which would include my 2 children I have at home with me. One of 3 years old and the other of 14 months old. I believe that children learn through play, and feel its important to teach them how to be Autonomous. It's also important to implement structure and stability. I live early morning Circle time, music and movement, and just allowing them to learn but also have fun at the same time. I know first hand how hard it is to find a Daycare today, especially one you can trust to take care of your child, and provide a safe, fun, and healthy environment. This is why I have chosen to stay at home and offer my time to your special children, because let's face it you as parents want your children to be happy, and safe. We as Educators spend most of the day with your children, being in a Daycare is so fast paced it is so hard to even form relationships and grow bonds with each child on a daily basis. I feel more comfortable with the 2-5 age group.I offer nutritional home made meals which includes breakfast, snack, lunch, and afternoon snacks. My available hours are from 7am to 5:30 pm. I must mention I have a cat that is extremely gentile and timid. My 73 year old father lives with me. He has raised my children while I go to school and work!! He is amazing. I look forward to opening my home to some really special children!! We can laugh, learn, be happy, and safe...
