I would welcome the opportunity to provide care in my home or the parental home, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm. I am willing to drop off and pick up children from school. I am willing to perform basic household chores and grocery shopping. In my home there are spaces available for up to 5 children. Please contact for availability.
Rates are as follows:
In parental home: Negotiable
In my home rates:
$35/day per child - Family rate: $30 for first child, $50 for two and $60 for three. Additional $10 charge for school drop off or pick up at school. After school only rates: $20/child.
Nutritious snacks/meals provided, crafts, educational activities, games, stories, baking, etc. will be offered. Tons of fun to be had by all.
I am a married mother to two grown children and blessed to be a grandmother to 3 wonderful grandchildren. I currently possess a First Aid and a valid G driver's license. I have a Teacher's Assistant diploma and have worked as an Educational Assistant working with children from JK to Grade 8. I provided assistant to children with multiple exceptionalities such as autism, ADHD, developmentally, physically and intellectually delayed, and ODD, fostering their cognitive, psychological, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. I have also worked as a Personal Support Worker in a home environment as well as a hospital and long term care settings. I provided assistant with personal care, household chores, activities of daily living, physical and occupational therapy. Part of my responsibilities included taking vitals and recording observations.
I have provided childcare in my home. Children were involved in development activities such as colouring, crafts, painting, cutting, gluing, baking, building, games, outdoor play, field trips, reading and writing to inspire their individual creative abilities while having fun. Social and behavioural skills were taught using role playing methods and positive reinforcement. Nutritious snacks and meals and regular rest periods were provided is a safe, nurturing, welcoming environment.
