My passion is helping others live the best quality of life possible. I enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself. I have a warm heart, I'm kind, respectful as well as punctual. I'm not just looking for a job closer to home, I want to be considered part of the family. Last year I completed my Early Childhood Education Assistant Certificate through Thompson River University in Kamloops BC. Prior to my program I volunteered 50 hours at the university's child care program ages 3-5. Once I completed the program I was a sub in a licenced family day care in Kamloops. I looked after and cared for six children ranging from 12 months to 9 years. I soon decided I wanted to expand my knowledge; it only seemed fit that I start working with special needs. I recently relocated from Maple Ridge. I was a home support worker, my client was a 25 year old female with high functioning autism Asperger's syndrome. I have been a positive part of her life for the past eight month.This type of position will allow me the opportunity to utilize my experience gained as a Home Support Worker, Nanny/Child Caregiver and Commercial Cleaning experience. I'm confident that my experience and passion for helping other would be a great addition to your family. I also have my level B first aid, food safe, record of my immunizations, clean criminal record and safe reliable car. I have had two family's that live close by combine my care for cheaper reliable care. I look forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
