My name is Kassidy and I am 19 years old. I know I may seem young but I have a lot of qualifications and experience with children. My mother has worked in an approved family day home for thirteen years and I learned and practiced the amount of care, love and patience that goes into caring for a child. I also have a lot of experience babysitting for many families. I am currently attending the University of Alberta and I am working towards my bachelors of education. I love science, and math but I am also very good with English and Social. I graduated with honours from Memorial Composite High School.
I currently have Health Care Provider CPR certification through St. John's ambulance and athletic injury management certification. I volunteered as a medical trainer for many different sports teams including volleyball, basketball, and rugby. I am very qualified in handling emergent situations, and I am very calm under pressure. I also have Child Development Assistant Certification (Alberta Children and Youth Services). Along with these credentials I have a class 5 drivers license, a RCMP criminal check and intervention check.
I have done quite a bit of volunteer time in both grade 3, and grade 1 classrooms. I love to teach children, and I also enjoy learning from them. I am very patient, loving, and fun.
I am looking for a job that would fit into my busy school schedule. I prefer something that is for the summer as during the school year I would like to focus on my studies. I could be available during school as long as flexible hours are okay.
