Megan, home childcare - S4H Weyburn

Hi!
My name is Megan, I am taking a break from school to save up money for when I move out. I have been babysitting since I was 12, and I have never had any complaints! I am always asked back because the children love me :) I am very outgoing and I love to have fun. I believe children should be loved and cherished, because everything that happens to them at a young age can definitely play a role in their lives later on! When I was younger, I had babysitters come into my house to watch me, and I have had some bad experiences. I have first hand knowledge of what qualities children like and dislike about a babysitter! I am a very easy going, nice and affectionate person but I also expect to have the same respect I have given. I don't put up with tantrums or any disobedience, but I also understand kids are kids and I am not too strict. Everyone makes mistakes :) I love playing board games, doing crafts, taking the kids on walks and to the park, and watching movies. I don't like to sit around and not do anything, because that's not what I am being paid for! I believe a babysitter should be active with the children, as growing up I disliked having inactive babysitters. Instead of people who should be taking care of me, some felt more like older siblings.
