I love children, they really are a gift. I always come away positively challenged, having learned something. I just finished working for a family that hired me 1.5 years ago, to care for their new born & 3 year old son (at that time), & preform light house keeping.
My experience started at age 10 when I began helping my mother love, feed and raise my first brother who was born 2 months prematurely. Our mother worked night shifts, thus at the age of 16 I was responsible for helping them with homework, accompanying them to school events, making them meals, entertaining them, ensuring their safety while they played together and preparing them for bed.

Partial / after-school care | $13.00 per hour |
Home nanny | $15.00 per hour |
I believe my work experience, my abilities, and my willingness to not only care for the children but also do house duties when hired by the family merit a hourly rate between $13-$15 dollars an hour.
