Erin, home childcare - M2J North york (fairview / henry farm / oriole)

Hello families.

My name is Erin, and I am experienced, mature, responsible, kind, nurturing, patient, and a fun-loving individual individual. I have cared for infants and children, 0 months to 10 years of age. I am looking for a childcare position within 15 kilometers of me, and with a maximum of 2 children.

I have cared for kids in private home settings and at daycare centres during college co-op placements previously. Experience includes (with infants and younger children), feeding, preparing meals, bottles and snacks, bathing, dressing, diapering, and dressing them, or assisting as such with older/special needs children when needed; I also prepare and put them down for naps and at bedtime.

Activities with children have been many, such as arts and crafts, games, reading, the arts (music, singing, theatre), going on excursions that are age appropriate (library, zoo, etc.) outdoor activities including exploration and discovery, walks, park play, recreational sports, and more.
I have also supervised (and assisted) with homework, during play dates, birthday parties, extra-curricular activities (swimming, sports, dance, etc.) and appointments, have prepared kids before school and daycare, and dropped-off and picked-up from. I also have experience planning activities.

Additional skills and hobbies are: light housekeeping, baking, healthy eating and special dietary restrictions, plant and pet care, gardening, reading, writing, dance, recreational sports, some history and sciences, and home organization. As well as continued learning in early childhood development, with one certificate of completion.
