Before they became old enough to take care of themselves I would watch my aunt's 2 daughters and they always seemed very happy and enjoyed themselves. From time to time I have watched my cousin's children and they have always seemed to be very happy by the end of me watching them and are always happy to see me whenever I'm around to see them. For a week during the summer before I started high school I was a councillor in training at Bar None Christian Camp and the girls that were in the cabin with me seemed to enjoy me and seemed very happy to have me around. Working with different children is always an adventure because every child is different and are always doing something funny. At the New Brunswick Community College campus in Miramichi I am taking a course called Child and Youth Care which is about working with troubled children which offers you the chance to work in a group home, with youth who have had to go to prison and even as an EA in a school. I have just finished my first year in that course and am ready to start the second year in the fall. I have never had a bad experience when I've worked with children but I know how to take care of them if there's something going on, such as give them a time-out or something along those lines. Something else about me that I think that you have a right to know is that I have epilepsy. I take medications for it that seem to work well, but I still feel that you have the right to know that about me. I haven't had a seizure while watching children for a long time, but I still feel as parents you have the right to know that about me.
