Kristina, home childcare in Ladysmith V9G

Hello,

My name is Kristina, I am in my mid 30's, however, am young at heart :) I have moved to Ladysmith earlier this year with my husband and our 3 cats from the Fraser Valley and am awestruck at the beauty the island holds. For the past 6 years I have been a home support worker and am registered in good standing with the BC Care Aid Registry. I have assisted adults of various ages and ranges in mobility to live independently within their homes. In my teen years I was involved with the girl guides of Canada as both a member and a leader (for 9 years) with a local Brownie group. I also was a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons in my early 20's. I was also a candystriper for 3 years at Langley Memorial Hospital. I am caring, patient, kind, imaginative, firm when need be, but overall, I love to be outdoors (nature walks/exploring) and to encourage the use of imagination. I love reading, am always up for making crafts, cooking and recently discovered a love of gardening. I would ideally enjoy working with children in a long term full time aspect, but am also open to part time. I am reliable and punctual and would prefer care to be in the families home.
