Rhys, home childcare - K6V Brockville

Hello :) My name is Rhys . I'm a 22 year old woman living in Brockville, ON. I'm looking for part-time or full-time child care positions in my area. I'm a compassionate, patient, and reliable when I'm working with kids. My dream is to become a Child and Youth Counsellor. I live a calm, serene life. I'm also a part time student, but I do online courses, so my schedule is very flexible.

I have 10 years caring for children ages newborn-12. I have experience babysitting for numerous children of numerous ages, from my little sisters to children of family friends. I was also a full time nanny for almost 4 years, caring for 2 children.

When I'm working with kids, I'm passionate about sharing my skills and also learning from them. I'm a folk musician and an artist. I love to paint, do crafts, draw, and use pastels to open up kids to the excitement of art. I can provide supplies such as pencils, coloured pencils, crayons, paint, pastels, canvas, sketchbooks, and colouring books when I come to the job.

I'm also a nature lover. I enjoy going for hikes, fishing, walking along the river, and walking my dog. In the past I have taken children for walks, to the park, and for hikes. I believe children should engage in stimulating activities in nature and would be willing to spend time with them outdoors.

I'm willing to also cook for the children and take care of the home. I take pride in keeping a safe and clean environment for everyone in the household. I also have a lot of experience with home cooking and making healthy, balanced meals for children.
