Mariya, home childcare in Waterloo south N2L

Hello! My name is Mariya, and I am a fourth-year Legal Studies and Psychology Student at the University of Waterloo. I have five younger siblings of my own (aged 4, 6, 11, 16, and 19), and they all look up to me as their role model sister, as I have been like a second parent to them :). I also have experience professionally, as I have cared for many different types of children over several years. I have always been around children, and enjoy caring for them as well as challenging them intellectually. I have taken multiple developmental psychology courses that have taught me proper techniques regarding child-raising, especially when it comes to helping them reach their full intellectual potential. I believe children are the most precious gift, and I hope to have three of my own in the future.
