I enjoy exploration for children exploration is a part of everyday experiences and whether supporting a child walking, exploring water, or other sensory experiences I enjoy helping them find new ways to explore and discover the world that they live in. I believe that the child is a competent and capable learners.
I have completed my studies in Niagara College’s Early Childhood Education Program and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). I am also a graduate of Brock University’s Child & Youth B. A. (Honours). I have completed 600+ hours providing superior care in multiple childcare settings and particularly enjoy working with and caring for very young children.
I have my CPR-C with First Aid and AED and a police check with vulnerable sector from previous work.
My previous experience outside of placements includes providing care for 3 siblings ages 3, 5 and 8 for the summer. I have also worked at an early childhood community development centre (ECCDC) creating high-quality, play-based, developmentally appropriate learning kits for their community lending library.
