Hello, I am a warm, kind person. Quick to smile and find the lighter side of a circumstance. My belief is that a child is a fully cognizant person, despite their age, and I have the responsibility to be respectful, open, and loving with my feelings and all interactions. I am delighted when a child trusts me, and presents a curious gaze, or, if I am very lucky, a smile. I have a comforting presence, and convey a secure competence. I believe in a troika of discipline: parent, child, caregiver, all having a role, with plenty of room for transparent discussion and compromise. Conflicts can be minimized by setting priorities and assuring all involved be aware of boundaries and limits. That being said, I would like to bring fun and a happy atmosphere to a home; honey not vinegar, as they say. Practically, I believe in adhering to a schedule, when it is appropriate, such as school, homework, activities. It is vital to create a rhythm and normalcy when the parents are absent. I enjoy cooking, baking, and, (I know it's odd!) but laundry is my fave. I think it is the simple synchronicity of it, soothes my soul. Ok, I'll close here, and hope this will appeal to a nice family, and we find a good fit.
