Hi, family!

Thank-you for taking the time to navigate my credentials and qualifications. I am thrilled to have the opportunity support your children. It has been evident that working with young children is something that I have been passionate about from a very young age and am now pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Sir Sanford Fleming College and am registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. I have spent the last year working in Kamloops, British Columbia working as an Au Pair for an incredible family - providing care for 2 year-old twin boys, and a six year old girl. I am looking forward to returning to Ontario and continuing to do what I love.

It is with great enthusiasm that I am seeking work in Ontario as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I am a passionate Early Childhood Educator with a strong vision for early learning and believe that my training and experience would make me a great asset to your family.

Intensive course work and placement opportunities in my experience in the Early Childhood Education program at Sir Sanford Fleming College have provided me with the essential skills and qualifications required of an Early Childhood Educator. I am confident in my education, experience and transferable skills such as my leadership qualities, flexibility and ability to work in a team setting, qualify me for this position.

In my two years of experience at Sir Sanford Fleming College, I developed strong values and beliefs surrounding how children learn in a play-based setting. My philosophy has been strongly influenced by the "How Does Learning Happen" document, the "Ontario Early Learning Framework" document, as well as the "Full-Day Early Learning Framework" document. I have also been provided with ample opportunities throughout my practicums to explore implementing theory to practice.
