Laurel, home childcare in New westminster northeast V3L

Since I was a little girl I have always loved being around children. I grew up with a lot of baby cousins and was always the one taking care of them at family get togethers. I have baby sat all through high school and University and finally got a job at a daycare in Germany, and it was a dream come true. At the daycare I worked in a group of ten children ranging in age from one and a half to three years old with one German co-worker. I was responsible for five children, I did their settling in period, was the go to person for their parents and did their portfolios. I also did morning circle three times a week. I was responsible for planning the daily activities, with my co-worker, as well as arts and craft projects. I was also repressible for the proper hygiene care of the children, from changing diapers and going to the toilet, to brushing teeth and washing hands/face. We served lunch at the daycare which was provided from a caterer service, and we made two snacks at the daycare. I was also responsible for looking for and hiring new native english speakers.
It is my passion to work with children and I do it with love. It gives me so much pleasure when a child that has been struggling comes running up with a smile on their face because they have accomplished something new. I love watching the children change from being “babys” to becoming independent little people, when they start wanting to do everything on their own and testing their boundaries. I love being able to help them through these difficult phases and working with them to become the best little person they can be. I am a very loving, cuddly person, but I can also discipline when it is needed. I expected quiet a bit from the children in my care and they never stopped surprising me with how much they could do at such a young age.
