Hi there! My name is Kate . I'm 19 years old and I am looking for primarily full time child care work, but if unavailable I would take part time as well. People have always told me I have a way with kids, even since I was one myself. I am firm (but not mean) when it comes to rules, and I can easily let go of my adult ways and become a child again during play time. I am slightly artistic and creative so you might have some new pictures to hang up on the walls when you get home. I am respectful and caring and I love to teach children. I love science and english. Especially creative writing and reading. I can understand French fairly well and I can speak it pretty well. Mind you I can't speak it super fast but I am fairly fluent. I also play guitar, ukulele and a bit of piano and sometimes I sing! I'm a pretty good cook and I'll always do dishes/housework so that you don't come home to a mess. (Unless you get home and we're in the middle of making something art related, though I'll still help tidy up.) I'm very keen on making children accountable. Which means helping clean up when they're done, bringing dishes to the kitchen, and I do NOT tolerate violent behavior whether it be words, or actions. I do not punish kids, I teach them how to do better. Any and every mistake made by a child in my eyes is an opportunity to teach them something and help them grow into better people.
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $5.00 per hour |
Home nanny | $8.50 per hour |
It really all depends on whats most affordable for the parent. Child care isn't something that is very cheap nowadays so if they can only afford the bare minimum I'll still take it. Caring for children is my calling in life and I'd just be pleased to find a job doing so.
