Deborah, home childcare in Calgary

We were privileged to employee Deborah as our nanny to care for our daughter Madeline (and our dog Gus) from the time she was 6 months old. Debbie was instrumental in helping our daughter to sleep through the night and developing her love of books and swings. Nanny Debbie worked for us for a little under a year; in which time she has always been extremely diligent, prompt and trustworthy. Debbie’s daily tasks typically involved preparing meals for Madeline, taking her to appointments and class activities, trips to the park, doing Maddie’s laundry and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, all whilst providing a log of the days meals and events to keep us up to date. Debbie also scheduled library visits and classes for Madeline and always brought a huge stack of books back for them to enjoy! Debbie is exceptionally skilled in child development; from Madeline’s interest in books, to animals, to new types of food, to building her imagination with play…. to recount all the wonderful things she has taught our daughter would be to write a book! Debbie is loving and nurturing person, through which she cultivated a deep bond with our daughter and our dog; Gus would be by the door waiting for her arrive every morning, and Madeline would follow Debbie to the door to wave goodbye every afternoon. Whilst we are sad to have had to say goodbye to Nanny Debbie, we can say will full confidence she will be a truly wonderful addition to any family.
