Amanda, foreign au pair - V1X Kelowna east central

I am a fun loving, creative and adventurous native Kelowna dweller. I love writing poetry, painting, riding my bike, learning Spanish and teaching kids. I have grown up with a brother who is ten years younger than me and I am often called his second Mom. I've learned so much valuable and practical knowledge by being so much older than him and babysitting him numerous times. Throughout high school I had three to four families that I would be babysitting for and I also was a Teacher's Assistant for a Grade One class during my Grade Twelve year. Two summer's ago I nannied for a family of three for the summer doing all sorts of fun things: baking, bike rides, collages, painting, board games, our own Olympics, a circus party and lots of craft projects. I love the challenge of stimulating kids' minds, to teach them about the world, help them embrace the beauty around them and to make memories that will last forever! I'm looking either for a live in nanny position or a full time nanny position for this coming September of 2015.
