Hi! I have recently started to work for the OCDSB and am just finishing up my first year working as an RECE. My goal is to be an educator that inspires children to enjoy learning. Some life experiences which have prepared me to be a strong educator of young children include gymnastics, dance, piano, singing, drama, and visual arts. I studied French throughout high school, and write, speak and comprehend French at an intermediate level. These skills and experiences have helped me to create engaging programs and activities in my student placements and in current jobs. I currently work as a Program Leader (school age), a recreation position with the City of Ottawa, and as a supply teacher for infants, toddlers, and preschool age children for the Colonel By Childcare Centre located on Carleton University’s campus.
