My name is Kayla.

I just completed a double degree at the University of Waterloo; Bachelors of Fine Art and a Bachelors of Psychology. I have worked with several different families across Canada and I am looking for a cool couple who needs support. I love to learn. I am very good at interpreting the needs of a family dynamic and providing support where necessary. I enjoy becoming involved in family's life. This is more than a job for me, I genuinely love to hang out with babies and young children and teach them about the world. Their minds are sponges and if you water them just right, you can watch them grow into a beautiful responsible human.

I teach baby ASL and have had major success in easing early communication barriers between infants and parents. I have a basic understanding of ASL and am always learning when the opportunity arises.

Multiples are also an enjoyable challenge. Experience working with special needs individuals, Downs, ASD, ADHD, Learning disabilities.

I work best with curious children, if your child is creative or would like to expose them more to exploring creative process then please send me a message. I enjoy planning trips and enjoy finding clever ways to teach through play. Communication, logic, kindness, curiosity, and creation are some of the key subjects I attempt to weave into and when I engage in play.

Feeling a little overwhelmed by your little ones? Chaos is a challenge. Looking for a live-in or live out if in GTA, live-in anywhere if anywhere outside of GTA. Emergency, weekend, short-term and possibly longterm (1-2 yrs) availability. I have my own vehicle with a clean driving record.
