Laura, foreign au pair in Ingersoll N5C

Hi, my name is Laura. I am looking to find work where I can help families. I am honest, caring and hard working. I am a young and mature female with a Social Service Work diploma. I also love to do volunteer work and go to church. I have taken care of children before for friends and family and have enjoyed the experiences. I have provided care for babies, toddlers and children. Some of the things I was able to do are as follows:
•Maintained safe and comfortable surroundings for the children, always provided services with care, love, respect, and an educational manner
•Communicated with children in a manner to support their social and emotional, intellectual and christian growth
•Provided nutritious snacks and attended to personal cleanness of children by overseeing their hand washing and toileting as needed
•Cleaned snack area and putting away of toys
•Played with children educational and fun interactive games and having sing alongs
•Prepared or heated and sometimes cooked nutritious meals for the children
•Fed, sometimes assisted with feeding and overseeing to ensure meals were eaten at required times by parents
•Helped with toileting on a need basis and ensuring a clean and comfortable, fun environment for the children
