I moved to London, England from Toronto, Canada at the age of 18. I started taking care of children in Toronto at 13 when I started to regularly take care of a 1 year old boy and another families two girls aged 5 and 8 once a week as well as a few other families around the neighbourhood. I got my first official nannying job when I had moved over to London where I took care of a little boy Oskar who was 11 months old and I took him on 3 to 4 times a week starting at 9 and finishing at 6:30. I feel most of my personal growth came with those years with him. Just like a mother I was thrown into the deep end and had to learn through experience rather than schooling. I think it was the more natural way to approach it and I have always been better at learning through experience. The most recent family I have worked for has an adorable girl of 1 year and her older brother (7 years) and sister (9 years). I worked for them Monday to Wednesday 8:30-6:30 and just adored them, however my plans have changed and now that I am moving back to Toronto I look forward to finding a new family to bond with. My outside interests mainly include writing, drawing and singing/song writing.
