I was born and raised in Victoria in a Norweigan Household with a family of 6 children, myself being the 3rd, first female. I helped my Mother raise the next 3 siblings from when I was 4 years old and up, as I absolutely loved babies and children. I attended Local Schools in Victoria, then Graduated and married at the age of 20. My Husband and I had 4 beautiful children and thouroughly enjoyed raising them. We made sure they had all the necessesities in life and offered extra-curricular activities all through their growing years. They are grown and all doing well with their Careers. Their Father passed away 5 years ago now, which was Traumatic. While my children were growing up, I decided to stay home and run an in-home Daycare for over 20 years so I could be with them. In the course of that time I had over 100 children come through my Daycare ranging from infants to after school care. Then 14 years ago, I decided to close down and work in a Clerical position. I have now decided to be semi-retired, but, have no grandchildren, so am missing children very much in my life. With my Daycare, I had a very organized day for the children. After Breakfast we would start the day with Artwork time, snacktime, games/music time, storytime, park time, then Lunchtime. After lunch the younger children would nap, while the older children would do storytime, teaching time-alphabets etc, as I loved teaching them and watching them learn. I practiced in teaching them to love and respect each other, and apologize if there was any aggression towards each other and divert their attention when this happened also. Positivity and happiness was our Daycare.

I am not up to par as to what the Rates are today, as when I operated my in -home Daycare 15 years ago, the Rates were much different, so I am willing to accept the Current rates.
