My name is Teresa.
I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria in Recreation and Health Education. My experience with children does not come from courses or a degree but from work experiences.
I have taught swimming lessons for 10 years, ran several summer camps, worked as a childminder in sports facilities, and currently run day classes at Comox Rec and just love kids.
I believe in taking children outside and being with nature whenever possible. I believe engaging their minds towards life skills rather than watching a screen. Their little minds are delicate and need growth in the best ways possible.
I am available during the day for school drop-offs and early pick ups. I am also available for evening and weekend babysitting for those needed adult times.
