Gemma, childcare provider - V8C Kitimat

I have been working with children for the last 7 years. I started out as a coach for gymnastics where I worked with children aged 3 to 12. Duties involved it this job were making a fun learning environment, organizing activities for my class, and keeping the children safe. I have obtained my gymnastics coaching level 1. I have also studied human growth and development as well as taken classes on elementary school Physical Education and have my FMS (fundamental movement skills) training. I have also done an extensive amount of babysitting, as well as volunteering to work with children. these experiences have allowed me to compile many games and activates for learning and fun. I have spend of great deal of time with children and am hoping to study to become a pre school teacher. I am a positive and energetic person who loves caring for, playing with, and watching children learn and discover. I am empathetic and compassionate and bring these qualities to my work.
