My name is Tori, I am a fun loving, caring young woman who is passionate about children, literature, and learning. In my personal time, I enjoy being artistic by way of painting, writing, reading, listening to music (etc), as well as being social and having new experiences. I am always looking for opportunities to learn new things and broaden my understanding of things I already know. In my professional time, I have spent a great deal of time working with children. Starting from high school (where I was a senior literacy mentor for students with IEP status or learning/behavioural disability) into University where I studied (though did not complete) teaching and English literature degrees (and worked both in-classroom unpaid as a mentor and as a paid employee of the school board as an in-school tutor) and even extending into my personal life where I have experience as a loving and nurturing aunt of 3.

Although I have since decided that being a teacher in a classroom is not the career that I aspire to, my passion and proficiency for childcare/education has not been diminished. I very much enjoy spending time with children and helping to shape them into the best individuals they can be.

I have the most experience with children aged 4-8 but do have notable experience with children of all ages. I have my own transportation, have taken first aid courses, and would be willing to obtain a criminal record check (I have had many vulnerable sector screenings done in the past as a requirement for my schooling and my positions within schools).
