Hi! I'm Sara. I have been looking after children for as long as I can remember. I have a younger brother and many younger cousins and nieces whom I have cared for many times over the years. I am an Ontario Certified Teacher looking for part-time/occasional hours with a new family.
I currently work for three other families in town, one part-time and two occasional. I have responsibilities including morning and bedtime dressing/hygiene routines, preparing healthy meals/snacks, school pick-up/drop-off, and general safety and well-being of the children and pets in my care.
I offer fun, energetic, and educational experiences for the children. I often like to bring some of my own games, craft supplies and books to shake things up. I try to get the children outside, or on trips to the library, zoo, parks, and resource centers. Exercise and fresh-air are important for growing bodies!
I encourage creativity, a passion for learning new things, and respect for the self, the environment, and others.
I look forward to meeting your family!
