Dear Family,
My name is Elisa , I am an eighteen year old girl. I am currently attending Queen's University but my hometown is in Ottawa. I am taking a bachelor of Science, with hopes of becoming a doctor one day. I would consider myself a very responsible, reliable, and very outgoing person. I love being with children. Ever since I was old enough to babysit, I would deliver flyers to people around my neighborhood letting them know that I could babysit their children. I am a very determined and trustworthy person. When I was younger I use to play "school" with my younger brother and sister, I would love teaching them new things and play with them. I am patient, but when needed can be authoritative. I am prepared to take on various tasks whether they are inside or outside the house, such as running errands, cleaning and cooking. I hope you considered my application, as I would love to work for your family.
I am a bilingual, female, Canadian Citizen. I have completed Nation Lifeguard, Standard First Aid, CPR level-C, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, LSS Lifesaving Instructor, Automated External Defibrillation and Airway Management. Since I was four years old, I enjoyed swimming. For the past four years, I have been working hard in order to accomplish my goal of becoming a lifeguard. I am an out-going, determined, team player, and I demonstrate strong leadership skills. I believe that I am a flexible, energetic and positive person. I especially enjoy working with children. I am very active, I use to play competitive soccer for 13 years, but I love all sports. I love listening to music and dancing.
My work experience includes working as a Park Programmer with the City of Ottawa Wading Pool Program this past summer. In the past, I have also worked at Farmboy as a cashier and at the Ottawa Athletic Club as a lifeguard and swimming instructor and a babysitter for multiple years. Additionally, I have numerous volunteer experiences such as helping out with fundraiser bake sales, score keeping elementary school hockey and badminton tournaments, and helping out at the Ottawa Heart Institute.
