Hello!
My name is Anastasia, Ana is what I tend to get called as it is easier to say. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. I got my babysitters license so I could start babysitting my siblings who are 7 and 11 years younger than me. This than grew to babysitting for friends of the family. Which grew to friends of those families. Then as I got older and my network grew I started to babysit and nanny for families I have made connections with through a sport I play, Ultimate Frisbee. Then developing using online sites to make connections with families for jobs.
I am a 21 year old, female who enjoys interacting with children on their level, getting on the ground and playing with cars, trucks, barbies, dolls, action figures, lego, etc. The quality that I pride myself with is the ability to interact with child on their level and gain their respect and keep that respect while also maintaining the family structure and rules that have already been set.
I love playing games, doing crafts, and just interacting and keeping children busy and entertained.
A little more about me: I am a student at the University of Waterloo. I major in Honours Mathematical Studies and minor in Sexuality, Marriage, and Familiy Studies. I am schedule to graduate in December of 2015. I have been playing Ultimate Frisbee and have been in the community for about 7 years. I have had experience with some coaching for about 2 years.
Thank you for taking the time to read and consider if I am what your family needs.
Occasional babysitting | $12.00 per hour |
Ideally I would like to get paid $13/hr for one child, and $15/hr for 2 or 3 children. These rates are negotiable, as I do understand that people may have tight budgets. However, please keep in mind that I am trying to actually make this a part time job.
