Looking after a child/children is a busy, responsible, dedicated, caring job. It is also fun for me, as I have two daughters, aged 5 and 8. They live with their mother in Winnipeg, but I talk to them every single morning before school and have them as often as I can, and I looked after them since they were firstborn, dealt with meningitis with my older baby, I take them to movies, out to eat, buy them electronics (they are really into using my cell phone to play games and watch movies, very savvy too!). We 'camp out' in a tent outside the house-cook weinies and marshmallows! I am looking for a full time opportunity and I get along with anyone and everyone. You can trust me like your own extended family member to make sure your child/children are in very good hands so you don't have to worry about them while you are away. I am 35 years old, aboriginal, and I live with my mother in a 2-bedroom apartment. She just got a job last week and I have applied to nearly every business in Selkirk - there's just not a great opportunity for jobs here, unless it's part time at Tim's or someplace like that. Not for me anyway. Thank you for letting me talk about myself and my experience with children.
