Melissa, childcare in Bridgewater B4V

I thrive in a child friendly environment. I have raised three wonderful children of my own while also running home based childcare; tending to children of all ages. I take great pride in my work and have exceptional references from many of the parents who's children were under my care. I knew at the end of each day that I had done over and above my duties as a childcare provider when all children were happy and well behaved and I must say, lol, usually cried because they wanted to stay longer instead of going home! I would never narrow my title to a nanny or babysitter, for I have always seen childcare as a multiple position job, from mothering, to mentoring, to teaching, to nursing to being a cook a maid a friend :) Childcare is not just being present with the children but is to be an encouraging, teaching, loving presence, in their day to day life, at such ages where learning everything from potty time to reading to learning how to interact with others and install values and morals to help them grow into good people. I love my job. It is an honor and a pleasure to be a part of a child's life, to help them learn and grow while having fun and laughing, while, at the same time is fulfilling on so many levels. :) Children of all ages bring me joy, and I can firmly say, I do so back to them. I am First Aid and CPR certified as well. Thank you.
