Lacey, childcare - B4P Wolfville

My name is Lacey , I am a University student at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta. I am returning to Nova Scotia for the summer (May-August) and would love to have the opportunity to work for your family.

A little about me, I grew up just outside of Wolfville, and lived there my entire life. I participated in recreational dance classes for approximately 8 years, and it was my absolute passion. From this, I learned the importance of recreation and leisure participation and therefore motivated me to study Therapeutic Recreation. I received my diploma in Therapeutic Recreation from the Nova Scotia Community College in 2014, and am now working to earn my Degree from the University of Lethbridge.

I have had employment experience in working with the geriatric population, as well as teaching students in dance classes. In these experiences, I have learned how to work with compassion, integrity and respect. I am ambitious, I always have a smile on my face and can assure you that I would be a great childcare provider.

My background in Therapeutic Recreation would be an asset to being a good childcare provider, as I have a broad scope of knowledge in planning activities for various populations!
