Hi there, I am a 19 year old student from the Burin Peninsula going to school in the fall semester 2016 when I hope to join the Social work class of 2020. Until then I am looking for full time work or part time, every bit helps. I can travel around St.John's and love working with children.
Recently I took time off to travel with my partner around Africa and Europe. While in Africa I stayed at an orphanage with a total of 18 kids ranging from the ages of 2-18. The kids touched my heart in indescribable ways and further secured the knowledge that social work and children are important things to set as a priority for my future. While staying in Germany after Africa, I worked extensively with animals and house cleaning so any other work you need help with while away I would love to help you get done.
Other experience I have with kids includes my siblings who range from 10-14. We play board games, go sledding, cook and bake together and more. I have on hand a Child Protection Record Check indicating I pose no risk to children and am free to volunteer at Day Cares, and other areas with Children.
I have a dated 2008 Babysitting Certificate indicating I took the Babysitters Course offered in my Home town. I will be obtaining First Aid Certificates in the near future. I hope that helps with any questions you have and I would love a call!
