My full name is Alannah Bernadette , and I am currently looking for a regular/weekly/monthly/yearly babysitting job.
I currently am working at Michaels, but I am not receiving the amount of shifts I had hoped to have, (I am receiving 1-2, 4 1/2 hour shifts a week).
Michaels is my third job (if you include babysitting). I have been working there for 2 1/2 months now, and really love it there. The unfortunate part, is the amount of shifts i am receiving.
I started my babysitting job when I was 12 years old. I am now 16 years old, soon to be 17. In those years of babysitting I have babysat from the ages of 5 months-11 years old. I don't have a specified rate, considering that I personally believe the parents should decide the rate. But seeing how I am hoping to take babysitting as a serious second part-time job, I am hoping to get ranges from $8-$12.
If you are curious as to why I am trying to get more shifts at my current job, or trying to look for a second job. It is because I am currently trying to reach my goal at buying my own vehicle. At the moment I only have $1300 saved, and that was only in the period of 5 months. I was hoping that by now I would maybe have around $2000-$2500. Unfortunately because of my small amount of shifts at Michaels, I am having trouble for reaching my goal.
I went to a day home when I was a new born baby, till I was about 5-6 years old. So I have many fun memories and experiences from there that I really love to share with other kids including; songs, games, snacks, lunches, suppers, etc.
Occasional babysitting | $12.00 per hour |
I am very negotiable with the given rate. The lowest I will take is $8. Generally I would take whatever the family can afford, or whatever they feel is appropriate. But seeing how I am hoping to take babysitting on as a strong part time job, (a second job to be working, while working at another), and I am not getting enough shifts at the place I am currently at. I would prefer a higher rate.
No recommendations yet, soon it will be your turn?
