Hello!
My name is Jenna and I am 20 years old and am currently in my third year at the University of British Columbia- Okanagan campus!
Im very involved with my campus and extra-cirriculars especially for gaining experience with families and children as this will be my field of work, and interest. All of my previous work experience has been with children and families, and I have been babysitting since I was 12.
I really believe in the power of play, and am very energetic and outgoing, however I am also very studious and put much significance on education, this involves creating fun games for children in their schoolwork and physical activity. I have worked with large groups of children without help and am a great multi-tasker, yet I also enjoy 1 on 1 time with children to engage together and play lots. I am very easy-going but I lay my ground rules down strictly so we can have some basic rules that can lead to a much more enjoyable experience. I will create an experience your children need and desire to grow and develop. I am finishing my undergraduate degree in kinesiology and coach as well as train many children in sport and play. Much previous job experience in community programs around healthy families as well as the importance of play. I am also trained as a lifeguard and have extensive first aid training, as safety is the first priority.
