Leah, babysitter in Toronto

Leah is a student at Monarch Park High school. She has been focusing her attention on courses related to law, and the society and has a strong interest in politics, with the hopes of attending law school in the next few years.

She has travelled extensively in her life having been born in German, and made various countries her home from The Dominican Republic, Norway, and Canada.

She is a strong athlete, and has competed in high levels of competitive swimming for Toronto’s TSC swim club.
Her strict training schedule over the past ten years has taught her the meaning of dedication, punctuality, patience, commitment, and honesty. Attending 9 practices a week, she started her day at 5 am in the University of Toronto pool, attended school all day and finished her day with three hours more at the pool.
She is now rowing with The Argonaut Rowing club and training at cross fit through the winter.
She is very reliable. She has always taken herself around the city of Toronto on public transit, and understands how important it is to be punctual.

• Leah has volunteered for the City of Toronto summer camps working with both the elderly (in a seniors summer workshop), and children with disabilities in a sports and cooking camp. She has also been a fixture volunteering swimming Lessons at Toronto Swim Club summer camps at the Donald/Summerville Pool in Toronto’s East end.
• She spent two summers as an assistant swim coach with Toronto Swim Club Summer Camp at Summerville Pool in the Beach. She worked with children 10 and under teaching them proper technique and skills in the water

• For the September 2015 elections, Leah was an active volunteer with the Mathew Kellway campaign, offering her marketing experience via phone research and working at the campaign office answering the phone and general office duties.

When time permits she has also been a mother’s helper and a babysitter for local parents. Leah is also actively involved in school clubs such as the Prom committee. She would be a valuable asset to any work place. She is calm, well spoken, pro-active, and is committed to any role she takes on.
