Hi, my name is Eden. I am a 3rd year university student here at LU majoring in the nursing program. I'm originally from a small town south of Thunder Bay but decided to move here about 4 years ago to study nursing. I am fluent in both official languages, French being my native tongue. I have a passion for working with children and have been doing so since about the age of twelve when I started babysitting for the first time. I've worked with kids from newborns to adolescents. I've also worked with children with special needs such as autism and Down syndrome. I have a very hands on approach when it comes to working with kids, I like to interact with them as much as possible. For example by, playing games, reading bed time stories, doing crafts or puzzles together, assisting with homework, going to the park and so on... I do not mind having to prepare meals for the children or doing some house chores however my main focus is primarily the children. I have efficiently taken care of up to five children in one household at a time and feel comfortable doing so depending on the circumstances. Being a university student I do have a busy workload and therefor could not be available for anything but occasional babysitting such as weekends, holidays, date nights and emergencies. Unfortunately I do not have my own car so transportation could be an issue depending on the location. As a nursing student I have a tone of qualifications that allow me to be a trustworthy choice for the care of your child including first aid CPR/ level HCP. If my qualifications interest you please feel free to contact me. I hope to hear from you soon.
